High rotational speed and large-sized cache of the MHT2060AH drive have contributed to the read and write operation in high speed. Massive capacity has been achieved through the use of a GDT (Glass Direct Texture) Media allowing up to 10.7Gb/cm2 (69Gb/in2) high density and up to 40GB per disk, 80GB per drive (2 disks) high capacity. FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) spindle motor and Head Load/Unload mechanism enable high shock tolerance. The drive withstands up to 900Go-p (duration 1ms) non-operating shock and up to 225Go-p (duration 2ms) operating shock. FDB spindle motor is incorporated for silent operation. 320bit length ECC (Error Correction Code) and S.M.A.R.T function enable the drive to improve data reliability.
